Turnkey Production Facilities & Studio Build-Outs

Purpose-Built Production Environments for Broadcast, Streaming, and Live Content

A professional production facility should do more than house equipment. It should support the way your team creates, controls, records, streams, and distributes content every day. At TV Pro Gear, we design, engineer, build, and integrate turnkey production facilities and studio build-outs for organizations that need dependable broadcast-grade performance from the first day of operation.

Our team brings decades of experience in production, broadcast engineering, system integration, mobile production, and facility design. We understand how studios function under real pressure because we have spent years building and operating the systems that keep productions moving. From compact corporate studios to full control rooms, broadcast facilities, streaming environments, post-production suites, and hybrid production spaces, we deliver practical solutions that are built around workflow, reliability, and long-term value.

When clients come to us for a broadcast studio design build project, they are often looking for more than a vendor. They need a partner that can translate operational goals into a complete technical environment. We help define the right system architecture, select the right equipment, plan the physical layout, manage the integration, and deliver a facility that is clean, organized, scalable, and ready for professional use.

TV Pro Gear engineers work closely with Gerling engineers to create the CAD layout drawings for each vehicle. In addition, the companies’ technical staff work hand-in-hand to design and specify HVAC, electrical distribution, storage bays, consoles, racks, wall, floor and ceiling treatments. During this process, the client has final approval.

A “Rack Ready” vehicle is one that has all of the HVAC, electrical distribution, equipment consoles and equipment racks installed. Once the vehicle is completed at Gerling & Associates factory in Sunbury, Ohio, it is moved to one of TVPG's System Integration

facilities in  Los Angeles.

Complete Studio Planning and System Design

Every successful studio begins with a clear plan. Before recommending equipment or designing racks, we take time to understand how the space will be used, who will operate it, what content it must support, and how the finished facility should connect to the larger organization. This planning process allows us to design a facility that supports both immediate production needs and future growth.

We can help plan and integrate production environments for:

  • Broadcast television studios
  • Corporate video studios
  • Control rooms and production control rooms
  • Newsrooms and interview spaces
  • Streaming and live event studios
  • Educational media facilities
  • Government and public access studios
  • Worship and nonprofit production spaces
  • Post-production and edit suites
  • Training, presentation, and hybrid communication rooms

Our design process considers the full production ecosystem, including cameras, switching, routing, monitoring, audio, intercom, lighting, recording, streaming, graphics, storage, networking, cable management, power, furniture, operator positions, and equipment access. The result is a facility that works as a complete system rather than a collection of disconnected components.

TV Pro Gear’s wiring technicians and engineers install all of the video, audio and transmission equipment. Only the highest quality wire and connectors are utilized. All wires get labels at both ends indicating source, destination and CAD reference number. Wires are dressed in and secured according to military and NASA specifications.

After the equipment is installed and wired, TV Pro Gear’s engineers perform System Configuration on such items as the switcher, router, intercom, replay and camera base stations. Next, TV Pro Gear Quality Assurance Engineers begin a lengthy testing protocol. Every input and output is repeatedly tested for continuity and signal quality. In addition, the QAE staff verifies that the “As Built” CAD drawings match reality. Finally, all equipment manuals are bound together and sent along with a digital copy.

Turnkey Build-Outs From Concept to Completion

Studio build-outs involve many moving parts. A production space must be technically capable, physically efficient, easy to operate, and serviceable over time. TV Pro Gear brings together the planning, engineering, fabrication, wiring, installation, testing, and documentation required to deliver a complete facility.

Our turnkey approach can include:

  • Needs assessment and workflow consultation
  • System architecture and engineering
  • Equipment specification and procurement support
  • Rack design and fabrication
  • Control room layout planning
  • Studio floor and operator position planning
  • Cable infrastructure and signal flow design
  • Audio, video, lighting, and communications integration
  • Streaming and recording workflow integration
  • Testing, configuration, and commissioning
  • Training and operational handoff
  • Documentation for support, maintenance, and future upgrades

Because we understand both the technical and operational sides of production, we design facilities that are practical for the people who use them. Clean wiring, logical signal paths, clear monitoring, accessible racks, and well-planned operator positions all contribute to smoother productions and lower long-term cost of ownership.

Built Around Real Production Workflows

A studio should support the pace and complexity of real production. Whether your team is producing live broadcasts, executive communications, training content, webcasts, sports coverage, worship services, government meetings, podcasts, education programming, or hybrid events, the facility must help your operators move quickly and confidently.

We design systems around the way content moves through the facility. That may include multi-camera capture, live switching, ISO recording, program recording, graphics insertion, audio mixing, remote guest contribution, video conferencing, live streaming, broadcast distribution, archive workflows, and in-room display support. We also consider the people behind the system, including directors, technical directors, audio engineers, producers, camera operators, editors, engineers, and presenters.

Our goal is to create a facility that feels organized from the first production. Operators should know where signals are going, how to access key controls, where to monitor sources, and how to troubleshoot efficiently. A strong studio design reduces confusion, improves production quality, and helps teams focus on content instead of technical friction.

Broadcast-Grade Integration for Long-Term Reliability

Reliability is central to every studio we build. Production facilities often support high-visibility events, live programming, executive messaging, public communications, and mission-critical content. These environments cannot be treated like basic AV rooms. They require professional engineering, careful integration, and a disciplined approach to testing.

TV Pro Gear designs systems using broadcast-quality principles that support performance, stability, and serviceability. We consider redundancy, signal management, equipment cooling, rack access, expansion capacity, cable labeling, documentation, and clean installation practices. We also help clients select technology that fits their goals without overcomplicating the system.

A well-built facility should be easy to operate, easy to maintain, and easy to expand. As production needs change, your studio may need more cameras, new streaming destinations, upgraded switchers, additional recording capability, improved monitoring, or new remote production tools. We plan with growth in mind so your investment can continue to serve your organization over time.

Facilities for Modern Content Teams

Today’s production teams often serve multiple audiences and platforms at once. A single studio may need to support broadcast delivery, social media streaming, internal communications, virtual events, video-on-demand, training libraries, and live conferencing. We help organizations build flexible production facilities that can adapt to these demands.

Our studio build-outs can support:

  • Live broadcast production
  • Multi-platform streaming
  • Corporate communications
  • Training and education content
  • Remote interviews and guest contribution
  • Hybrid events and town halls
  • Podcast and vodcast production
  • Sports and live event support
  • Government meetings and public communications
  • Post-production and media management

We focus on building the right system for your team, not simply the most complex system. Some clients need a high-end broadcast control room with advanced routing and multiple operator positions. Others need a streamlined studio that a small team can operate with confidence. In both cases, we bring the same attention to workflow, reliability, and professional execution.
