HyperX² is the crown jewel in Chyron’s graphics system suite. The turnkey system combines the award-winning Lyric® PRO motion graphics feature set with a newly implemented video graphics processor module that delivers the most advanced graphics technology imaginable. The heart of the HyperX² is a high-speed, multi-core, dual-processor graphics engine, which can simultaneously manipulate hundreds of 3D layers of text, logos, textures and movie objects, all in real time. The intuitive Lyric® software platform provides precise control over every transition and effect, with a broad array of adjustments already familiar to users of 3D creation tools and NLEs.

The HyperX² features seamless creation-to-playout capability and is scalable with up to two software-switchable HD/SD channels, each of which can integrate powerful options, including an eFX clip player, 3D DVE and Second Video Input. An open platform ensures interoperability, so that HyperX² can take maximum advantage of the latest innovations by integrating the most current video processing hardware.

Familiar, timeline-based animations and drag-and-drop scene building emulate the leading nonlinear editing applications, making the HyperX² easy to learn and limitless in its capability. Each object and its attributes are controllable from discrete timelines, and on-screen motion paths provide pinpoint accuracy. Pages can be tied together with customizable transitions that add dynamic continuity and complexity.

Time-critical news and sports environments demand the ability to update text and graphics at a moment’s notice. The HyperX² offers quick, manual update, as well as an indispensable set of update tools, including the industry-standard Chyron Intelligent Interface® featuring Continuous Update, and DB Link for update from databases. Specialized, third-party live data import applications, including Harvester Pro, sports tickers and news services are also available. The HyperX² interfaces with the CAMIO Newsroom Integration and Media Asset Management system, as well as Chyron’s iSQ Multi-Channel Remote Playlist Controller.
