In order to meet increasing demands for quality from a rapidly-growing client base, Zoic Studios recently contracted TV Pro Gear to upgrade their post facility.
Zoic Studios is the creative brainchild behind effects for such feature films as "Serenity" and "Get Smart" along with the television series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigations" and highly-anticipated Fall programs J.J. Abrams’ "Fringe” for FOX and HBO’s “True Blood,” among many others. Their fine work brought them several years of constant growth which soon required a complete facility upgrade. Their new post production facility needs to be 4:4:4 and capable of handling the demands for quality from their rapidly-increasing client base.
TV Pro Gear redesigned Zoic’s post facility to address their diverse needs. Our integration team handled the engineering for the redesign while wiring and configuring the whole equipment compliment. After completing integration, TV Pro Gear’s experts trained Zoic Studios' staff on their new 4:4:4-capable system, allowing them to master the equipment and begin back at work in short order.
The completed facility includes a variety of decks including several SRWs, Autodesk Flame Systems, Avid Nitris Systems, Avid Adrenaline Systems, and Final Cut Pro Systems. This powerful configuration will allow for an efficient workflow and the quality expected by Zoic Studios' customers.
The Facility also featured the first installation of Blackmagic’s Broadcast Videohub Router. The 72-input, 144-output video router offered Zoic a powerful solution for its digital studio that created a more efficient workflow that saved the company time and space.
TV Pro Gear went to great lengths to develop a top-notch post facility that has Zoic Studios set for the future.
