Glendale, CA – November 26, 2007 – TV Pro Gear, a leading systems integration and mobile solutions provider for the broadcast, production, and post industries today announced the presentation of “Post Production Workflow” a professional series seminar to be held on Dec. 12, 2007.
This seminar will cover planning your shoot from start to finish and will demonstrate the post process mastered on any format including HD while using Apple Final Cut Studio 2. The seminar will also address: Choosing an acquisition format. Time/money considerations of using SD vs. HD/HDV, 720 or 1080. Organizing the Edit, Format Conversion, Pull Up/Down, Field Dominance, Final Output and Common mistakes.
“There seems to be a lot of questions surrounding acquisition format and consequent post production and format conversion issues. We get a lot of inquiries regarding this subject and the seminar is in response to our clients wanting to know the dos and don’ts of HD and SD acquisition. There will be presentations by Apple Computers featuring the powerful Apple Mac hardware and the Final Cut Pro video/audio editing software. JVC ProHD Professional Division will present the JVC GY-HD250U and the Final Cut Pro 6.0.2 which now allows for native first generation editing of HDV720 format in 24p, 25p, 30p, 50p and 60p frame rates. The featured presenters include Wes Llewellyn, a 20-year veteran filmmaker and Brian Quandt, a Visual technology pioneer in film and encoding technology, whose clients include Warner, Fox, Disney, Regal Cinemas, and Apple. Brian is also an expert on video for mobile, broadband and IPTV platforms. He will discuss MPEG and other encoding formats.
