TV Pro Gear teams up with Facilis and Avocent to provide an exciting new facility workflow. We’ve joined with these industry leaders to create systems offering unparalleled flexibility and efficiency in accessing all your editing and post resources. From a single workstation, access all of your existing projects, systems, and machine room resources. No longer will you be tied to single purpose workstations.
Think about a wide-open system that isn’t dependent on a particular machine or project. You’ll be able to switch between using your edit bay as a Final Cut Pro System, Avid DS Nitris System, and Color Correction System with a simple click of your mouse. Never again will you be hamstrung by having your projects dependent on a single editing system. Our configuration allows your projects to be totally independent, with the ability to be accessed by every VTR, system and computer in your facility. No more swapping out computers, pulling decks, or rewiring the entire machine room for each new project. TV Pro Gear caters to your specific requirements. Because every Post Facility requires it own needs, functions, and equipment, TV Pro Gear’s highly trained engineers work with you in creating the right workflow, design, and engineering for your situation. No project is too small or too large for our expert staff to design the perfect workflow. Our Workflow Diagram will provide you with a great idea of how we're able to integrate any piece of equipment into our Open Platform Post Facility. When Facilis designed and engineered the TerraBlock®, it was done with one thing in mind: make it easy for the customer. Easy to install, easy support, and easy to use, TerraBlock® supports mainstream tools including Avid, Pro-Tools, Final Cut Pro, Adobe, and a variety of Linux-based applications. The Terrablock® can be configured for uncompressed multi-stream 2K, HD 4:4:4, or mixed workflows of compressed and uncompressed clients of any platform: Windows, Mac, or Linux.
Avocent is the industry leader in KVM switching. Avocent has designed a KVM matrix which digitally supports Dual Monitors, Resolution up to 1920x1200, and the flexibility of easily growing. Avocent has made its solution highly accessible. Its industry standard design allows it to support nearly every component available, with installation requiring no new drivers or software.
Depending on the size of your facility, TV Pro Gear can configure a matrix routing system from 16x16 all the way up to 512x512. This will allow for easy access to all of the equipment in your machine room (recording, playback, monitoring, test equipment, etc.) by any of the equipment wired to the matrix.
