Lexicon Marketing, a leading provider of commercials and infomercials to the Hispanic market, recently hired TV Pro Gear to move them into their production & post facility.
The project involves relocating a complete HD/SD Production and Post-Production Facility from Lexicon's old Los Angeles-area location to their new headquarters. They use their facility to create, edit, and distribute Spanish-language commercials
This is accomplished with Panasonic P2 Cameras, three Final Cut Pro Editing Bays, a Pro Tools System, an Audio Booth, and a complete Machine Room utilizing their house formats of DVCPro100 and Sony Digital Betacam. This array of equipment all needs to fit into Lexicon's new location and make the journey intact.
TV Pro Gear will handle the removal and relocation of Lexicon’s equipment compliment as well as new facility's design, engineering, wiring, installation, configuration, testing, and training. Handling the entire process in house allows TV Pro Gear to ensure a seamless transition for Lexicon, one in which the new facility is ready to handle the company’s workload on day one.
“Moving an entire facility is obviously a very cumbersome task,” said Chandos Mahon, Jr., Senior Vice President of TV Pro Gear, “Having one company handle the entire scope of a move can eliminate the hassles and functionality problems that many associate with relocating a studio.”
In addition to simply moving Lexicon's Post and Production Facilities, TV Pro Gear's engineers will also streamline their workflow allowing for a more efficient work environment that will save the company time and money, something that is of the utmost concern to Lexicon.
