Using TV Pro Gear's patented CAMBOX™, the FLYPAK™ can be used with nearly every professional camera on the market. Through a newly designed multi-core cable, the CAMBOX™ feeds the camera power, remote, timecode, genlock, tally, and intercom while bringing back uncompressed HD/SD and audio. With the combination of our CAMBOX™, Camera Control System, and Multi-core cable, we can guarantee lengths up to 300 feet. We offer Fiber Optic solutions for cable runs beyond 300 feet.

Switcher

There are many switcher options for the FLYPAK™ however the most popular one is the For-A HVS-500 Video Switcher. This 10-input digital switcher supports HD and SD formats and multiple frame rates. It has DSK with Chroma Key Function, two still stores, picture-in-picture, NAM, FAM, 100 different wipe patterns, color correction, and color matching. Being brand agnostic, TV Pro Gear can also integrate other switchers from brands such as; Panasonic, Grass Valley, Broadcast Pix, Focus, and Data Video. Our goal is to help you make the right decision in selecting the product that best fits your needs.

VTR or DDR

The FLYPAK™ allows you to have many recording option. Some of the options include DVC Pro100, HDCAM, XDCAM, and HDV.
Or you can go tapeless with a variety of storage options. One such option is the Facilis 8XS which allows you to record at any Bit Rate and can create a seamless workflow with Final Cut Pro or Avid. The Facilis 8XS comes with 8TB ofstorage whichequates to over 100 hours of footage at HD ProRes 422 (1280x720 59.94). Running on OS X, you can have programs such as Final Cut Pro and edit on the fly.
The FLYPAK™ also comes with a professional DVD recorder which allows you to immediately review the program feed with the ease of a DVD player.

Miranda Screen Splitter

The Miranda screen splitter feeds up to ten HD/SD SDI images into the 42” Panasonic flat panel display while simultaneously displaying tally, time-code, camera audio meter, time of day and up and down timer. A Leader 7700HD rasterizer allows you to test and monitor every video signal with the convenience of the Panasonic flat panel monitor. The Miranda has over 20 presettings which allows you to have unique display layouts for different venues and occasions.

Audio Mixer

The FLYPAK™ is equipped with a 16 Channel Audio mixer. This allows you to mix multiple wireless microphones, camera audio, VTRs, and an eight input audio box. The eight input audio box comes in multiple lengths and outputs for intercom.
