Digital Realm was extremely excited when Live Nation Motor Sports and SPEED TV picked the production company to produce the upcoming season of Arenacross for the network. It will be their third season covering the racing series for SPEED, but its first in HD.
Previously, Digital Realm covered the races by renting equipment or using gear provided for them by the event facility. These were usually 4:3 SD Systems which could not meet the SPEED’s demand of an HD Upgrade, and the cost of renting an HD System at every new site would exceed Digital Realm’s budget. The production company needed a way to take HD equipment with them from event to event.
